I remember that I decided to turn on one of the settings in the emulator that caused some strain on my computer (I have a rather nice gaming laptop so it wasn't a biggie though) that made the morphing system work pretty nicely but the dog was still buggy.Īs every emulator it crashes from time to time so I advise you to save pretty often and backup your save files to another folder from time to time because I had an emulator crash while saving which erased a whole evening of playing :'(īut tbh it's the best Fable 2 experience that you can get on PC right now. The main problem with Fable 2 on xenia is that for some reason the emulator can't process the face and body morphing system and the community still didn't find a proper way to address this topic. The experience wasn't perfect but there's still an active community that tries to make this emulator better and better, every few months a new patch comes in. There you can play that game in a cloud but the experience was really bad for me - Fable 2 is not well optimized for that, the framerate drops often and the lag made me lose any pleasure of actually playing the game (I compared it to other games and It's not the problem with my internet speed but with Fable 2 itself) I tried xcloud (you just need to subscribe to Microsoft's ultimate game pass). Most importantly - I bought the game because I don't condone piracy. I went through a similar situation a few months ago: We always want to make the sub better, so feel free to ask for flairs, CSS changes, more/less rules - whatever. If you have any qualms/queries/suggestions feel free to message the mod team at /r/Fable and we will hopefully get back to you soon. We're all here to enjoy the series as a community. Please keep posts related to the Fable series (We wouldn't ban anyone for accidental spamming, but we might ask you to stop) Please do not spam, feel free to post most anything Fable, but make sure the subreddit isn't just your LP for the past month. (If you deliberately troll you will almost certainly be banned) Keep in mind proper Reddiquette and don't be overly attacking/mean with your posts. Whether it be discussion about Fable, Fable II, Pub Games, Fable III, Fable: Heroes, Fable: The Journey, Fable Legends, Fable Fortune, or the new game - all discussion is welcome. I personally can’t do the Xbox game pass streaming due to connectivity issues, so these were the best options I had for playing it without an Xbox. This subreddit provides a space for fans of the newly announced Fable game from Playground Games as well as the original Lionhead's series of games. I also found a copy of the pc version of Fable 3, bypassed the games for Windows live using a steam guide, and that’s had excellent results. That was just the intro section, but that said it’s been somewhat stable for me, but I don’t enjoy playing it in that disheartening state, so I’ve given up due to the lack of Fable 2 emulation fixes in the last few years. These issues include but are not limited to, voice audio abrupt cuts, a lack of ground texture, leaving a void filled with blue, pink, black and skybox streaks, big round glowing orbs falling which represent snow, but are missing the correct implementation, and many more. You can play on pc via emulation, and it’s technically playable, it’s just that if you use Xenia (the only option I’ve researched and used so far) You will have severe graphical and audio issues. Might have to look into getting a new system if it looks good on those just for Fable 2 after that ngl. Looked up some gameplay of fable 2 last night and that menu screen hit me with a nostalgia truck legit felt like something I forgot. We're all here to enjoy the series as a community. ) The PC is a big part of it for though :/ I been playing Fable 3 and, man it just doesnt cut it. According to him, its on Xbox/Microsoft to make it happen. He has talked about Fable 2 and a proper PC release on the Kynseed Steam forums. This subreddit provides a space for fans of the newly announced Fable game from Playground Games as well as the original Lionhead's series of games. One of the original devs for Fable 2 is working on a game on Steam called Kynseed.
